UTM offers travel-study to the United Kingdom


Hop on board for a spring travel-study adventure in the United Kingdom with the University of Tennessee at Martin!

This 15-day trip to England, Wales and Scotland, planned for May 19-June 2, will take travelers from London to Loch Ness and a multitude of points in between, including the Tower of London, Stonehenge, the white cliffs of Dover, King Arthur's Round Table, Macbeth's Castle near Inverness, Robin Hood's territory around Nottingham, and much more. A special feature of this course will be on-site discussions of British literary works and history during visits to specific locations.

This travel study trip is open to the public. Potential travelers should plan to attend an organizational meeting of the England, Wales and Scotland Travel-Study group at 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26 in the Media Services Seminar Room, located in the Paul Meek Library on the UTM campus.

The cost of the trip includes round trip airfare, chartered bus service while in England, Scotland and Wales, admission to all scheduled events, all hotel accommodations based on double occupancy, daily buffet breakfast, and more. Student scholarships and academic credit are available for this travel-study opportunity.
