UTM football enters one poll, loses rank in another despite recent win


The UTM football team is ranked No. 22 in The Sports Network’s I-AA College Football Poll. The poll was released Monday, Oct. 2.

UTM is also ranked No. 23 in Don Hansen’s National Weekly Football Gazette NCAA I-AA Football Top 40. The poll was released Sunday, Oct. 1.

UTM sports a 4-1 won-loss record and is 1-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference after Saturday’s 20-10 victory over Austin Peay State University.

UTM will travel to Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee Tech Thursday, Oct. 5. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
