Super Bowl was a smash, despite the flash

No matter what the FCC says about the Super Bowl and Janet Jackson’s brief exposure, we all know that it was a hit.

The uproar being brought about from the half time show and Janet Jackson’s anatomy being shown is ridiculous. If you watch any primetime network you will notice that there is more profanity being used, more obscene gestures being made and the discussions or punch lines are about sex. Come on!

The children of today watch Christina Aguilera jump around half naked on MTV so do you think that seeing Janet Jackson half naked for a brief second is any different? Its not like that the children of today won’t see something like that when they grow up.

No one said anything about the streaker running around the field during half time. Why doesn’t the FCC charge them because the only thing that he had on was a G-string.

This is defacing what could be one of the best Super Bowls in the 10 years. The Super Bowl came down to a last second winning field goal but do you think anyone in that stadium was sitting there saying “I can’t believe that little Henry just saw that woman's breast?” Heck no! They were drinking a cold beer and screaming at the top of their lungs.

There are also the commercials. The Super Bowl is the only time of year that 300 million people will sit and watch a two to three hour program without ever changing the channel. So who cares what some over the hill star did during a half time show that most people never saw in the first place. The point to this--the Super Bowl was great so give the Janet Jackson thing a rest.
