Start following the Golden Rule people

It has come to my attention that apparently many of the Y-shaped dorm dwellers (specifically those on C2 in Austin Peay) have either never heard of the Golden Rule, or just flat out don’t care.

For those who truly don’t know it, here it is: “Do unto other as you would have them do unto you.”

When you decide to go running down the hall and in the kitchen in the middle of the night yelling, cussing, and laughing at the top of your lungs that is the equivalent of coming into everyone’s room and yelling because (gasp) THE WALLS AREN’T SOUNDPROOF!

Do you have any idea how annoying it is to be woken at 3 a.m. because some genius decides to go tearing down the hall yelling like a crazed banshee?

Some of us actually like to go to bed at a decent hour and when you do that you only disturb our sleep but you reduce our functional abilities in class due to lack of said sleep.

So please be considerate of your fellow dorm dwellers and keep the noise level down after quiet hours (8 p.m. - 8 a.m.), the rest of us will do the same for you.
