Skyhawk of the Week 11/3

For the third time this year, Donald Chapman has been named Skyhawk of the Week.

The freshman running back from Marietta, Ga., rushed for a career-high and school record 272 yards and scored a touchdown against host Southeast Missouri State last Saturday.

Chapman is the first Skyhawk to rush for more than 200 yards in a game since 1997. He also set a new school record for rushing attempts with 41, which beat the old record of 33 set in 1956.

Chapman needs 154 yards over the last two games of the season to set a new school record for the most rushing yards in a season.

Over the 2004 season, Chapman has rushed for a total of 905 yards on 198 attempts during eight games. He sat out one game due to a knee-injury.
