Signs show alien life, faith do exist on earth

Crop circles have long been questioned, whether as a real formation by aliens or merely a formation created by man as a hoax. But what do they truly mean?

Signs is the latest from the writer/director of The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, M. Night Shyalaman. It is a new, exciting thriller that answers the questions of the crop circle phenomena.

Set in the small town of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Signs stars Mel Gibson (What Women Want, Brave Heart) as Graham Hess; Joaquin Phoenix (Return to Paradise), as his brother Merrill; Rory Culkin (A Few Good Years, You Can Count on Me), as his son Morgan; and newcomer Abigail Breslin as his daughter Bo.

Gibson, a priest who left the church due to a tragic event, discovers formations of intricate circles and lines in his cornfield.

As he tries to find answers about crop circles, he also finds the answer in his questioning of faith and life.

The discovery of crop circles will forever change the life of his family and the town of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

I gave it a rating of four and a half, because it is a suspenseful movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next.

The movie also has hints of emotional aspects in it, and a good deal of action.

Although it does deal with alien life forms, the movie is not centered around the aliens, which is what I was expecting when I first went to see the movie.

Signs does a great job with suspense in both the plot of the movie and also the music. Silence has never been so thrilling in a movie.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes suspense or anyone who has an interest in the crop circles/aliens phenomenon.
