Well, March Madness has finally ended and UCONN has set NCAA history by being the first school to grab both the men’s and women’s national basketball titles in a single season.

I told all you whiny Tennessee fans that the Lady Vols would choke. This proves once again that I am in fact the smartest sports writer alive.

The football team is cranking up training and preparing for next year. This season they hope to win a few more games and get some respect from opponents and fans alike.

This is the part where I usually tear into a team about their chances and etc..., but I think that the Skyhawks will surprise some people next season. I hope to see the games this year as opposed to read about them in a foxhole outside of some city in Iraq whose name I can barely pronounce.

The Cardinal received a lot of hate mail this past week after a pitiful performance to start the season. As a Cardinal fan, I think the redbirds are just not back into their game yet. That and they wanted to give the Cubs’ fans hope that they could actually beat St. Louis this year. Cards are going to the big one my friend, bet the farm on it.

In Nashville, people are getting ready for the city’s first ever NHL playoff game. The Predators are taking on the Red Wings in the first round and many believe they have a shot at beating them.

After the Preds beat Detroit at their home place, they will have to rename Hockey Town to Predville.

To wrap up, congrats to UCONN, ha-ha to all the Vols’ fans, Go Cards, Go Preds, and please win you guys on the football team. I can barely afford the money I owe the bookie now. You guys have to bail me out a little. Till next week, have a good one and enjoy.
