Monday, September 1 :: 1:27 a.m., Cooper Hall Misdemeanor citation charging a visitor with Criminal Trespass on the campus. General Sessions Court.

Monday, September 1 :: 9:05 p.m., Ellington Hall Fire call in the laundry room of E-Unit, Ellington Hall. It was determined that two washing machines had been overloaded and the belts had burned up causing the smoke. No external damages were observed.

Tuesday, September 2 :: 12:12 a.m., Jeffress Street Two misdemeanor citations issued-Driving on a Suspended License and Viewing a TV while Driving. General Sessions Court.

Tuesday, September 2 :: 7:58 a.m., University Street Citation was issued for Crosswalk Violation. Martin City Court.

Tuesday, September 2 :: 8:40 a.m., Maintenance Center Employee reported the theft of money from his desk. Co-worker was charged with Theft Under $500. General Sessions Court. Restitution was paid to the victim on September 4.

Tuesday, September 2 :: 2:50 p.m., McCord Hall Student reported the theft of $60. Report is UNFOUNDED as she reported the next day she had lost and found the money in a friend's car.

Tuesday, September 2 :: 10:00 p.m., Lot 18 Grass along Moody St., west of the Heat Plant, was seriously damaged by a vehicle. The area was extremely wet due to the recent rains.

Wednesday, September 3 :: 7:59 a.m., University Center The Bookstore received a counterfeit $20. Investigation continues.

Wednesday, September 3 :: 1:43 p.m., McCord Hall Student complained of chest pains. She was checked by EMS and refused transport by the ambulance. DPS transported her to the hospital.

Wednesday, September 3 :: 10:15 p.m., Elam Center While working the Soybean Festival concert, a Martin Police Department officer encountered a student who had been drinking and in possession of alcohol. The student was 22 and did not appear to be intoxicated and was taken home by his roommate. Referred to Student Affairs.

Wednesday, September 3 :: 10:30 p.m., Elam Center A visitor attending the Soybean Festival concert in the Elam Center fell on the west side of the walking track. The floor was wet were something had been spilled. Subject was not injured. Report is for information.

Thursday, September 4 :: 9:23 a.m., University Courts Student found a window broken out of his truck. He had left his truck for his girlfriend to drive the night before.

Thursday, September 4 :: 2:11 p.m., Gooch Hall DPS assisted Tipton Co. Sheriff's Office serve a warrant.

Thursday, September 4 :: 4:14 p.m., Activities Field Student playing soccer was kicked. Subject taken to the hospital.

Thursday, September 4 :: 11:14 p.m., UTM Campus A vehicle rolled in the parking lot striking another vehicle. Drivers exchanged information.

Friday, September 5 :: 2:05 a.m., Lot 7-Ellington Hall An underage student was found to be drinking and was placed on the 1st Offender Drinking List.

Friday, September 5 :: 4:46 p.m., University Courts Washing machine was overloaded with pillows and burned up the belt on the machine. MFD responded.

Saturday, September 6 :: 9:45 p.m., Mt. Pelia Road Citation issued for a Stop Sign Violation. Martin City Court.

Sunday, September 7 :: 11:37 a.m., University Courts Handicap sign post broken off by unknown vehicle.
