Photographer was unfair to non-greeks at SAC event

I was very disappointed in the Pacer’s coverage of the Housing Department’s part in Lip Sync.

Now, maybe we aren’t as “important” as the Greeks who participated , and yes, we were the only co-ed team, but we worked just as hard, if not harder, than some of the other participants.

Not only did your small paragraph look like a last minute add-on, our picture wasn’t even taken.

And I don’t mean that our picture wasn’t in the Pacer.

Imagine my surprise when I logged on to the photographer’s picture site to find the supposed “housing” section of Lip Sync completely empty!

Also, during the event, when the winners were asked to gather on the stage for pictures, the photographer WALKED OFF after he was finished with the Greeks, while we (the Housing Group) were assembling on stage!

Now, I know that being in a fraternity or a sorority is a big part of college life, but I also know that there are MANY students on this campus who are not in a Greek organization. Does this mean that those of us not in a fraternity or sorority are less important than those who are?

Judging from your article, I would say the Pacer staff believes the answer to this question is YES.
