Marriage is important

There are many things that have bothered me lately about life and school, such as classes with 60-70 people, the country’s war situation, but most of all the pressure of getting married. Marriage is a special thing. It is not something to rush into or be pressured into.

Of course opinions are acceptable on the situation at hand, but to make two people that love each other so much feel uncomfortable. I believe that marriage is highly underrated in today’s society.

Couples live together unmarried, teens have children out of wedlock, and the society suffers.

A child should have an established home with a mother and a father (with the same last name!!) before it is conceived and brought into this world.

But to have that would be to have a relationship with love, trust, friendship, faithfulness, and care. When a couple has all of these characteristics in their relationship, then they should talk about the next step – marriage. It isn’t up to the people around them.

It is their lives (or life together), so they should initiate the idea. If you have friends that you think should get married, keep your mouth shut until they open the topic for discussion.
