Do you want to download music quickly without having many worries about viruses and hackers? Then, don’t use Kazaa.

Kazaa is just one of the many file-sharing programs that allows you to easily download music.

Even though it is easy, the price you pay for downloading music is a price that is too great to pay.

To effectively review Kazaa, I downloaded the program and started getting the music I wanted.

I found that the program itself was easy to download, as was the music. Once downloaded, the music goes straight into a folder called “My Shared Folder”.

The only trick to using Kazaa to me was in the first initial download of the program. You have options of what installation you would like to use.

Kazaa recommends that you use the default installation, which supposedly only allows users to download what is in your “My Shared Folder”.

I chose that installation thinking that that was true.

Unfortunately, I found out different when someone tried to download programs from my computer that weren't in the shared folder.

If you choose another kind of installation, the process of getting files that are not in the shared folder is made much easier for hackers.

Does Kazaa just assume that no one will be smart enough to hack beyond the shared folder or do they just not want to let us in on the gist of it all?

Whatever the case may be, the program does not live up to the claims in its tips for using the program.

While people should be aware of the possibilities of hackers, the Web site should warn the user of the possibilities as well.

Viruses are easily picked up from many places on the net, but they are much more abundant in file-sharing programs such as Kazaa.

For some reason, there are many people on Kazaa who get a kick out of crashing other people's computer.

I’ve seen people like this on Internet programs before, but Kazaa has, by far, the most I’ve ever encountered.

So, in my experience with Kazaa, I encountered hackers and viruses.

I recommend that users abstain from Kazaa completely and research music sites before downloading from them.
