It is not too late

It is that time of year again and everyone is stressing out. I have good news for all of you last minute crammers. It is not too late. All you have to do is follow these ten easy steps and you will be on your way to a passing grade, only two payments of $19.95 and free shipping and handling if you sign up a friend. Ha, ha, just kidding. 1.) Find a person in the class that is an "A" or "B" student that is willing to help. 2.) Set up a time schedule that is convenient for the both of you to study and make each session count. 3.) Select an atmosphere that encourages academic achievement. (Avoid dorm rooms, lobbies, and any other places that can become a distraction.) 4.) Break study load down into smaller groups to make the information easier to absorb. (Ex. If there are four chapters to learn assign two chapters to one person and the other two to yourself and swap information.) 5.) Do not overstudy, give yourself a set amount of time to learn information and once that goal is met, move on. 6.) Stay focused. 7.) Reward yourself when you accomplish a study goal. 8.) Keep a positive attitude about what you are doing and do not underestimate yourself. 9.) Do not let anyone tell you it is too late and you can just re-take the class in summer school. 10.) Take your study partner out to dinner once finals are over to show your appreciation. April Jenkins is a freshman Communications major from Memphis.
