If you’ve been waiting for the wrecking ball, then your wait is about to be over. Demolition contractors will arrive on campus April 1.

The contractors have 90 days to complete the task of tearing down Austin Peay Residence Hall, filling in the basement and leveling and compacting the top soil.

The office of housing warns of loud noises that will occur during the demolition phases. Anyone who has questions or concerns is encouraged to contact the office of housing at 7730.

After AP has been demolished, the construction of the new housing project will begin. A full scale model of the new apartment-style housing is upstairs in the UC.
