Faculty, students take it to the court

The second annual faculty vs. students basketball game, co-sponsored by Gamma Beta Phi and the Inter-fraternity Council (IFC), will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 in the Skyhawk Fieldhouse.

Everyone is invited to attend this free event. Gift certificates from area businesses will be awarded to people in the crowd throughout the event.

There will be two teams, each consisting of faculty and students. The students consist of members from fraternities.

“It is free, and a lot of fun,” said Gamma Beta Phi’s president Maria Cawthon, talking about the event. “Come out to see your teachers play basketball, and you might even win some money in the process.”

For more information about the faculty vs. students basketball game or how to get involved, call Elly Hughs at 588-0250 or email Maria Cawthon at marecawt@mars.utm.edu.

This event is free and everyone is invited to attend.
