ECCE offers a variety of web courses

Do you have a busy schedule? Have you even wanted to take a class, but you could not work it into your busy life?

If the answer is yes, you need to find out about the online classes that UTM has to offer.

These online classes are designed to be flexible, and you can participate from the comfort of your home, day or night.

UTM's Office of Extended Campus and Continuing Education (ECCE) offers a wide variety of non-degree online courses.

All online courses run for six weeks, with each course consisting of 12 lessons.

Online courses consist of quizzes, assignments, tutorials, live instructor support and online discussion.

Students can take several days to complete each lesson after it is released.

Dr. Cates said, "We are finding new markets that are available to the university through online classes.

And we are trying to meet these markets. It is less than 100 students that are taking online classes."

All courses require Internet access, e-mail, and a Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser. For more information on course schedules, descriptions and registration fees, or to browse the entire course catalog, visit the web site at www.ed2go.com/utmecce or call the ECCE at 7082.
