Diverse art by students

Students are still able have a cultural experience as three of their peers display their artistic talents in a senior exhibit, in Fine Arts.

Seniors, Pamela Vickroy, Graphic Design major, Hilary Black, Art Education major, and Quentin Klinkefus, Art Studio major, present unique and diverse art pieces.

Students can visit downtown Memphis with bright and vibrant framed photographs by Vickroy.

Vickroy also takes advertising to a whole new level by combining her artistic abilities with a National Mental Health Association public service announcement.

Klinkefus uses dark and dull colors to make some of his pieces have an antique look.

Black has a 3-D affects using acrylic and paper on canvas. Some of the pieces by the artists are somewhat explicit.

Overall, the exhibit was interesting and shocking. On a scale of one to five stars, one the lowest and five the highest, this exhibit gets a three and a half stars.

The exhibit will be up until Dec. 13 in the Fine Arts gallery. The exhibit is part of the requirements for a B.F.A. in Art.
