Court date set for student who left the scene of an accident


Stefanie Norton of Warface, Tenn will face court charges of leaving the scene of an accident after she allegedly ran her vehicle through the brick wall near hte driveway of the ATO house.

In a report filed by the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity on Oct. 30, 2003, the fraternity did not have any major witnesses of who had hit the wall. The case was turned over to the Martin Criminal Investigation Division.

On Dec. 19 an affidavid of complaint was filed against Norton. Norton was to appear in court yesterday, however the court date has been continued.

The damage done to the strucutre was originally reported to have totaled around $1,000.

Norton’s intent of running her vehicle through the wall has yet to be determined.

The Pacer will provide information pertaining to the next court date when it becomes available.

As of printing, the ATO’s have not made any visible improvements to the wall’s damage.
