BCM plans full calendar of events for the fall semester

The Baptist Collegiate Ministry has this month's calendar packed with events that all students are invited to join in on.

Each Wednesday at noon the BCM holds a weekly lunch called NoonDay at the Baptist Student Center on Hurt Street.

Women from local churches provide a $2 home-cooked meal and a short message is given near the end of the meal.

NoonDay is free for first timers. For more information on NoonDay, call Katie Swarthout at 587-8955.

Every Thursday night at 8 p.m. the BSC. has another weekly event called T.N.T, which stands for Thursday Night Thing.

T.N.T is a time that students can come together and worship in song.

Tonight from 7:30-10:00 p.m. is Game Night.

Students come on out and bring your favorite board or card game.

There will also be junk food provided and students, you can also bring your favorite snacks.

The BCM also provides an international student ministry called International Christian Fellowship.

International students are encouraged to get involved; it’s a way of meeting new people.

The IFC group is taking a camping and canoeing trip September 27 and 28. A sign up sheet is in Gooch 144.

These activities are planned by the BCM council with students in mind.

As you can see, the month of September is full of activities, as will be the rest of the year. Plan to get involved with Baptist Collegiate Ministries!
