Bahama Trip Giveaway

If you need a vacation, then the brothers of Kappa Alpha Order have your “ticket.”

The Delta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Alpha Order is hosting its annual trip giveaway to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The trip consists of a three-day cruise to the Bahamas, and the tickets cost $5, with every cent going to MDA.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary national health agency dedicated to partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. Today, MDA is one of the world's leading voluntary health agencies fostering research and medical care.

Your help is important. All that MDA does is funded almost entirely by individual private contributors, because it receives no government grants.

“The trip giveaway is one of many ways that we are trying to raise money for this worthy cause but to do so, we need your help,” said Bo Mantooth, president of KA.

For more information or to purchase a ticket, you can see any KA or go by the UC information desk. The drawing will be held Saturday night, April 17, at the KA house, but you do not have to present to win.
