Annual ‘Burger Bash’ to benefit Community Develpment Services

The Annual Burger Bash will be held on Oct. 31, from 4-6 p.m. at McDonald's restaurants in Martin, Dresden, Paris, Fulton and Union City.

Each of these McDonalds is owned by McWorth Management in Paris. Twenty percent of the sales during the Burger Bash will be donated to Community Development Services (CDS) via the 46th Annual Telethon of the Stars. The telethon will be held at the Executive Inn Showroom in Paducah, on Nov. 9-10.

This is the third year for the annual Burger Bash.
Last year, McDonald's donated $869 to the telethon, and in 2000, $980 was donated.

“McDonald's and CDS have had a wonderful partnership over the past several years,” said Katie Kenworthy. “We hope that this year's Burger Bash is as successful as it has been in the past.”

CDS is pleased to have three of our clients working at McDonald's. Rhonda Fleming, of Paris, has worked in Dresden for two years, Eugene Malkin, of Union City, has worked for one year in Fulton and Michael Helton, of Paris, started at McDonald's in Martin about three months ago.
